Sweat Equity Challenge

In the next few weeks, Victorians will have the opportunity to participate in an event that will feature over 20 activities designed to test their various levels of athleticism.
The Sweat Equity Challenge, will be held in Riverside Park on Oct. 3 and will benefit Habitat for Humanity-Victoria.
The event will be the city's first all-day, all-athletic event. The purpose is not only to encourage participation, but to also raise community awareness for Habitat for Humanity.
"Habitat homeowners pay a mortgage, they pay taxes," said Ingra Sparkman, the event's chairwoman. "Habitat is not a handout, it's a hand up. These people work really, really hard. They either have to have a job or be in school to qualify."

Capsaicin is nature’s own chemical weapon, targeting specific vulnerable nerve cells and generating the feeling of severe burning — without actual damage.
