The following incidents were reported by the Kinston Department of Public Safety and the Lenoir County Sheriff's Office:
On Sept. 21, a woman reported someone stole the N.C. registration plate from her vehicle. The plate is valued at $28. The incident occurred in a parking lot on Parrott Dickerson Road, Kinston.
On Sept. 20, a woman reported someone broke into her vehicle and stole the following: Drugs valued at $40, $314 cash, and two debit/credit cards. The incident occurred in a parking lot on West Vernon Avenue at 4 p.m.
On Sept. 20, a woman on Simon Bright Court, Kinston, reported someone threatened her with bodily harm.
On Sept. 19, an employee of Rouse Road Apartments reported someone damaged a wall by removing a fire extinguisher. Damages were estimated at $300. The incident occurred at a residence on Coleman Drive, Kinston.
On Sept. 20, a woman reported someone threatened her with bodily harm. The incident occurred at a retail establishment on West Vernon Avenue at 5:25 p.m.
I Heart Horror… ‘Shuttle’
Pick of the Week - "Shuttle":For you fans of horror experienced there, we all know that a description or a bad cover of DVD can shake us and make us skip a movie in a heartbeat - if you have a pulse. I recently received the "Courtesy Shuttle 'Magnolia Home Entertainment and I'll be honest, I was not looking forward. I did not ask and it looked like another damsel in distress movie. The ladies in their underwear at the bottom of the DVD has not helped either.
The story seemed rather pedestrian and family.Two young girls who are back to BFF their home airport after a vacation in Mexico. As they had to fly the redeye to return home, transportation options are minimal and it rains. Bad news ladies. I wanted these ladies the best and hope they stay dry and I thought they would be given the title of the film. The girls choose a shuttle on the other due to a lower price, but they get more than they bargained for - see what the economy does not? "
Shuttle packs a punch and enough twists in it to inject shock you needed. This does not mean it is perfect.This is the case, unfortunately, have some of those scenes where the victim would have done one thing and finish. However, it should not spoil your good time.
Director Edward Anderson, who also wrote the film, has the modern horror / thriller audience and uses previous film structures against you. Shuttle knows the history and develop has been done before, but this is only the force. It can turn something that has been done millions of times and turn it into something fresh. to talk much about the movie will take away the charm and inner workings of the film.I assure you that you have a good time and it's for your rent money. What Gears are needed in Paintball?
In paintball games the safety of the player is the primary concern. Nobody would like to be injured or hurt in this fast-paced and action-packed sport. Execution and the use of air-pressured guns can be dangerous if a person is not properly protected with clothing and other safety gear. Here is a list of safety gear and equipment a person must have before he plays the sport.
1.The paintball mask is essential equipment for face protection. A person may not be allowed to play if he does not wear the protective mask.
2.A person must also have eye protection. He may choose to invest in a set of goggles to prevent any splat of paint from getting in his eyes.
3.A person must have a paintball gun for his weapon to eliminate an opponent. When he hits a specific target he is able to terminate any possible threats for the win.
4.A paintball is needed as is used as the bullet fired by the air-pressurized gun. It is important to launch (or fire) when he is sure of a target. It is important not to waste any paintball by being an aggressive attacker unless the other members of his team ask for cover and back up.
5.The barrel is for the storage of the paintballs. It also guides the paintball directly at the target if aimed properly. He may find various accessories that he can attach to the main body of the weapon.
6.Brass barrels are the best buy one can get. They are less expensive and create less friction allowing the paintballs to launch in a straight path with great speed.
7.The air tank is essential to activate any launch. It can be attached to the gun or hang horizontally on the back of the players. It is advisable to position the tank above the gun so that the liquid CO2 will raise the pressure up and out of the gun.
